
Reverend Adrian J. Bullock
Pastor
Adrian J Bullock is a native of Raleigh, NC. He is a graduate of William G Enloe High School (2014, diploma); North Carolina Central University (2018, Bachelor of Business Administration); and Campbell University Divinity School ( 2022, Master of Divinity). Adrian is also continuing his education at Fayetteville Technical Community College to obtain a license in Funeral Services.
Adrian Bullock has served in the following capacities: Black Seminarian Union, Campbell Divinity School (co-founder and first president) ; Widow's Son Masonic Lodge #4 PHA Raleigh, NC (Lodge Historian); Ruth #2 Order of the Eastern Stars; Prince Hall Grand Lodge of NC-Assistant Piedmont Regional Director of the Knights of Pythagoras, youth organization.
In his adolescent years, Pastor Bullock traveled across the state of North Carolina in his recitation of Dr. Martin Luther King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech. His recitation along with his gift of oratory has awarded him several acknowledgements.
He is actively involved in ministry work. In 2018, Adrian Bullock was a featured preacher during the Preaching Under Forty session of the General Baptist State Convention of North Carolina 150th Annual Session. He serves as liaison for the General Baptist State Convention Young Preachers’ Network, which launched in January 2021. He is also a member of the National Academy of Preachers and a 2020 recipient of the 25 Young Leaders to Know Award of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Convention. Rev. Bullock has been a featured article contributor of the Baptist Bulletin Newsletter of the General Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, the 2020 and 2024 editions of the Gathering- Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina official magazine, and an upcoming contributor for the Prayer of the People Spiritual Guide of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Global
In denominational life, Rev. Bullock serves on the following boards: Executive Board of the General Baptist State Convention of NC; Assistant to the Late Night Chairman-GBSCNC; Team leader for “Growing Stronger” a social justice program within CBFNC designed to engage students from Historically Black and Baptist Colleges from across the state of North Carolina; and the Racial Equity and Justice Committee of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of NC.
In June 2019, Rev. Bullock accepted the call to serve as the campus minister of the United Christian Campus Ministry serving North Carolina Central University following the tremendous work of Rev. Dr. Michael D. Page. Since taking on this role the ministry has grown from 0 to 30 active students by August 2022, created its new website, and online giving was launched.
In September 2023 he accepted the position of Triangle Area Campus Minister for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina. In this role he serves as Baptist Campus Minister for the following college communities:

During his tenure internships were offered to seminary students across the triangle, ministries were reorganized, congregational partnerships were established, and student involvement increased.He previously served as intern to the Presbyterian Campus Ministry NCCU (2016-18), Cooperative Baptist Fellowship at NCCU (2019-22) and Interim Campus Minister for UNC Chapel Hill and Duke University (Jan 2022-Sept 2022.)
From August 2017-August 2022, Rev. Bullock served as youth pastor to the West Durham Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. LaMont J. Johnson, Sr. During his five year tenure the church saw growth within its youth ministry with the creation and launch of the Lit Experience (youth, children, and toddlers worship) which saw youth actively working and serving in the church and community. In this role Rev. Bullock cultivated partnerships with other local community churches, raised substantial funds, launched its annual youth conference, and helped implement technology in the church via its social media platforms.
Adrian J. Bullock received his ministerial license in August of 2015 from his home church, Watts Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Raleigh, NC under the mentoring and guidance of his “spiritual father”, Rev. Dr. Harry L White, Jr. Adrian Bullock passed the ordination catechism through the Wake Missionary Baptist Association and was ordained on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at his home church. In September 2022 Rev. Bullock was elected senior pastor of Beaver Dam Missionary Baptist Church in Clinton, NC after serving in an interim role beginning in March of 2021. His tenure began as its 21st pastor on January 1, 2023. Within over a year, Rev. Bullock and the Beaver Dam Baptist Church have worked together to implement the following improvements:

The completion of its church parking lot and campus renovations

Launched live-streaming for worship on five different platforms

Created the church’s website and updated its church social media platforms

Introduced technology in every facet of the ministry

Created the church archives and updated the church’s history through written and oral formats

Led the church in celebrating its 140th anniversary

Solidified partnerships with other local congregations and the local church association
In October 2023, Rev. Bullock was elected Presbytery Board/ Ordination Council Chair of the Western Union Missionary Baptist Association.
On October 7, 2023, Rev. Bullock wed the former Aneika E. Dickens, a PhD student in Public Administration attending North Carolina State University (expected graduation date-December 2024.)
